I love fashion photography, especially when concerned with social, environmental and political issues. Fashion is a very dominant medium connecting large groups of people, and I often find myself trying to use it to express my ideas concerning my personal environment and issues I care about.

And this is one of the reasons I got so readily involved with the NFI ”We Will Not Remain Silent” (hebrew)  campaign. I shot it a few months ago and was glad to work on the Chic-tivism production for Time Out as well. The concept was simple: protest through chic. And by the way, I have nothing against protesting in sweatpants and slippers; just trying to present a healthy alternative.

Opened on 5.5.2011: Flash Powder exhibition by the artist Aline Alagem, exploring clubbing culture in all its’ decadence. The show was curated by Shiri Ben Artsi and featured twelve large oil paintings based on the photos I’ve taken during the specially organized session.
The exhibition was hosted by the FERRATE gallery. It closed on 18.6.

I was glad to participate at the joint Time Out & Israeli Children NPO project against the deportation of immigrant workers’ children. Here are some chosen images from the three day long production that took place at the Time Out
offices and featured some 150 people, including artists, politicians and other public figures
